I enjoy starting my day with a great smoothie or juice. It's a sure way to give my body some added nutrients and I really love the glow and energy boost that comes with it. Earlier this week I made a carrot, beet and ginger juice that was so good. I knew I had to share it with you!
- Carrots--Has beta-carotene, an antioxidant which plays a role in maintaining healthy skin.
- Beets--Immune boosting properties, helps improve blood circulation and filled with essential nutrients.
- Ginger--Anti-inflammatory properties, helps fight colds and nausea. I could go on and on about this one. I always make sure I have fresh ginger at home.
Recipe:
- 2 carrots chopped
- 1 small beet diced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger
- 1 cup of coconut water
*I do recommend that you strain it after blending, for a smoother taste.
