#CharliChew: Big Pink

Hello guys and gals!! Today I want to share with you a relaxed spot on South Beach to enjoy some good food. 'Big Pink' is your traditional diner but remixed. I say remixed because they have shakes and floats that you'd expect, but they also have smoothies, cocktails and beer on tap. It’s located one block away from the beach on the ever trendy Collins Avenue. You have the option of dining inside or al fresco. Of course I ate outside because the weather was perfect plus I like to people watch. The menu is BIG in every sense of the word. There are over 200 items to choose from.

I highly recommend the Red Velvet Pancakes. Honestly, I was a bit apprehensive about ordering it, but I let my love for cake prevail and all doubt went away when it arrived. Every single bite was absolutely yummy. They get bonus points for serving it with real butter and maple syrup. It is worth mentioning that they stay open pretty late on most nights and until 5 am on Friday and Saturday.

I’d love to know about some of your favorite diners or just a chill place to grab a good bite. Please share with me below and follow me on Instagram for more : )

Airbnb: Miami Beach

Hello beautiful people!!  Hope you all are doing well : ) Recently went on a weekend getaway to Miami Beach. Miami Beach is an interesting city because it can be posh, touristy, chill, WILD or serene. It really just depends on where you go. If you read my post on 5 Ways to Achieve Relaxation  then you know that I love the beach. So, it was only fitting that we booked a beachfront condo. You have to agree that the Florida "fall" weather is just too perfect not to.

The space
I found the perfect place using Airbnb. Their site allows you rent a place from locals. I first used Airbnb a couple years ago at the recommendation of one of my best friends. I've shamelessly been hooked ever since. The fact of the matter is that I love to travel and I enjoy staying somewhere nice without breaking the bank. You have the option of renting a shared room, private room or the entire home to yourself. They really have an option for every budget. Best of all, it's available in over 190 countries! So, I still have at least 189 more countries to discover using them (*insert wink).

Happy travels!

GET FIT NOW!

We all have different fitness goals. For me the goal is to be more active and to maintain a healthy heart. I'll admit I like the glitz and glamour of having a more firm and lifted butt. You can throw in a toned body and flat tummy. However, I think it's important to focus on short term goals. This way we don’t get bogged down and overwhelmed. Ultimately, leading us to quit. Take it one consistent step at a time. Here are my five fitness tips to help jump start your journey and help send you on your way to positive results.

5 Reasons to Visit Jamaica

Lately, I've been reminiscing about my previous trips to Jamaica. There is a warm, fuzzy feeling I get whenever I visit. I find myself chasing that feeling in every city and country that I visit. Hard to describe the island because it is a myriad of things. What makes Jamrock a true gem is that she is all these beautiful things without any pretentiousness.
